12 July 2024 Update
Our container has arrived at Port Chalmers and is waiting for customs clearance and final delivery to our warehouse.
05 July 2024 Update
The container has arrived in Auckland awaiting transfer to a vessel to Dunedin. We have booked a different vessel that will depart from Auckland on 9th and arrive at Dunedin on 12th July. It is only 4 days earlier than the original schedule but consider the time required for Customs clearance and final delivery to our warehouse, it is well worth it.
13 June 2024 Update
After closely monitoring the status of the Singapore Port, we have determined that the congestion is not improving and the delays are unpredictable. As a result, we have canceled our booking that routed from China to Singapore to Port Chalmers and have instead booked a route that avoids Singapore Port. Here are the estimated dates for our new schedule:
18 June 2024: Vessel departs from China.
05 July 2024: Vessel arrives in Auckland, awaiting transfer to a vessel to Dunedin.
13 July 2024: Vessel departs from Auckland.
16 July 2024: Vessel arrives at Port Chalmers. The container will then wait for customs clearance and final delivery to our warehouse.
Unfortunately, we are not in Auckland, but we hope this new route will mitigate further delays.
07 June 2024 Update
Our shipping line agent has booked our container on a vessel that scheduled to set on sail to NZ on 17th June. We will update the ETA once the vessel is en route.
05 June 2024
Due to ships being diverted from the Red Sea, there is significant congestion at the major transshipment port in Singapore, causing delays of up to weeks. We are currently awaiting confirmation from our shipping line agent to secure a slot on a vessel that sails to Dunedin port.
We will keep this post updated with the latest information and ETA once we had confirmation from our shipping line agent.
