10 June 2025 Update
Our container has cleared by customs, we are still waiting Mainfreight to deliver it to our warehouse. We are hoping to get everything ready by end of this week.
04 June 2025 Update
Our container has arrived at Port Chalmers and is waiting for customs clearance and final delivery to our warehouse.
10 May 2025: Vessel departs from China.
25 May 2025: Vessel arrives in Auckland, awaiting transfer to a vessel to Dunedin.
30 May 2025: Vessel departs from Auckland.
04 June 2025: Vessel arrives at Port Chalmers. The container will then wait for customs clearance and final delivery to our warehouse.

Our next shipment has been delayed by more than two weeks due to a shortage of freshly imported NatureWorks Ingeo PLA pellets following the tariff war between the US and China. Production is now is almost finished, and we are aiming to load our container onto the vessel scheduled to sail on 8th May.
We have been recommended several times to consider switching our raw PLA material from NatureWorks Ingeo to a cheaper alternative that is already used by several other brands. The cheaper PLA pellets offer similar properties and produce prints with slightly brighter colors. It would also lower our costs by about NZ$1 per kilogram, which would help us offer our PLA filaments at a better price. We haven’t made the decision to switch yet, but it’s something we might have to consider if getting enough NatureWorks Ingeo continues to be a challenge.
