Before adding this item to your order, please read the description carefully.
Based on valuable feedback from our customers, we've identified two minor issues when using our cardboard spool with the center mounting hole on a non-rotating hanger:
1. The cardboard spool may generate paper dust due to friction against the hanger during rotation. This is especially important to consider if the filament is mounted on top of the printer, as any paper dust could potentially fall onto the build plate.
2. Some hangers may introduce excess friction, hindering the spool from rotating freely. This depends on the specific shape of the hanger.
The above issue can be fixed by applying this spool spacer to the center hole. Thanks HuggyNZ test and modified the model to fit our cardboard spool perfectly.
The spacer model can be downloaded here: cardboard_spool_spacer.stl . It only requires 12~14g of filament to print two spacers.
We will also provide printed spacers for free to help customers get started. Please note that the spacer's color will be random, and it may slightly delay the handling time of your order if we run out of stock.
